Vivek’s New Year begins with a visit to Taj

Agra Actor Vivek Oberoi and wife Priyanka Alwa Oberoi started the New Year on a romantic note by visiting the monument of loveTaj Mahal-- on Monday.

He was accompanied by their kids, family friends, including some foreigners.

Vivek stayed at the Mughal era monument for over an hour and clicked selfies before walking hand in hand with his wife.

The Saathiya star entered the Taj from the eastern gate like normal tourists and wore white dress, shawl and sandals. As soon as they were identified they were given security cover.

Vivek braved the chill and visited the monument with great enthusiasm often propping up questions to their tour guide Sanjay Srivastava even as tourism police cop Sushant Gaur paved the way for the actor.

“Vivek was curious about the monument and its history and appreciated the construction and maintenance of monument and the inlay work. He was fascinated by the work by artisans who made such a building centuries ago,” said Srivastava.

Vivek had planned to come early at Taj but had to delay the plan due to heavy fog.

He also obliged his fans who more than often came close and sought photos and autographs.

Vivek has been associated with a charity at Vrindavan and is a regular visitor. But this time he chose the monument of love to begin the year with.
