Lucknow Film Club is a community of like minded people who love films as a medium to communicate with the larger audience.

Recently, in the month of Jyestha, when city is celebrating Bada Mangal, LFC has made a film on Bada Mangal which highlights the composite culture and history of this festival in Lucknow. The film has been produced by Tariq Khan and scripted by Akhilesh Dixit. Camera and editing of this film is professionally done by Timsal Qamar with a forceful voiceover of SA Mehdi.

This film also deals with social issues and appeals fellow citizens of Lucknow to keep our city clean during the festival of Bhandaras, and also ask citizens to quit plastic products for the sake of environment and instead of plastic go earthen thus promoting livelihood for a big community of potters.

“In this era of smartphone and 4G connectivity, YouTube and other channels are accessible to nearly most of the urban population. Keeping this in mind LFC produces films to highlight the rich culture and heritage of Lucknow. Till now LFC has produced many films in which few of our films are on YouTube, on our channel Lucknow Film Club,” tells Tariq Khan.
