Why Mahesh is wrapping up Maharshi swiftly

- Shreya Mukherjee

Actor Mahesh Babu, who is back on the sets of his next Telugu film, plans to finish the movie’s shooting at one stretch. The actor wrapped up the first schedule of Maharshi in December and then took a break for a family vacation in Dubai. Given the interest around the film, it seems both the makers and the actor have decided to finish the film as early as possible; more so because they are eyeing a summer release.

Mahesh, reportedly, will be playing five different roles with five different looks in the film that is based on the plight of farmers in the country. Two looks from the movie, which have already been released, have created quite a buzz.

Besides the aim to finish the project in one go, a source close to the film, which is being helmed by Vamsi Paidapally, shares that everything has been kept quite hush-hush about the project and all those who are a part of it have been asked not to react to any reports. “Precautions are being taken that nothing about the film goes out before it hits the theatres,” the source adds.

A portion of the film that narrates the story of three friends played by Mahesh, Allari Naresh and Pooja Hegde, has been shot in the US. Actor Jaya Pradha is reportedly portraying a pivotal character in the project.
