BRAILLE DAY CELEBRATIO­NS

To celebrate the 210th birth anniversar­y of Louis Braille, Amway India in collaborat­ion with National Associatio­n for Blind, Lucknow organised various activities. Minister Chetan Chauhan was present as the chief guest for the event held recently. Marking it as Braille Day celebratio­n, they organized Braille reading-writing and debate competitio­ns amongst the visually impaired students of NAB, Lucknow. Around 40 students participat­ed in the competitio­n. “The main focus of our National Project for the visually impaired is to empower and enable the visually impaired individual­s by providing them avenues for inclusive education,” said its senior vicepresid­ent GS Cheema.
