BRAILLE DAY CELEBRATIONS
To celebrate the 210th birth anniversary of Louis Braille, Amway India in collaboration with National Association for Blind, Lucknow organised various activities. Minister Chetan Chauhan was present as the chief guest for the event held recently. Marking it as Braille Day celebration, they organized Braille reading-writing and debate competitions amongst the visually impaired students of NAB, Lucknow. Around 40 students participated in the competition. “The main focus of our National Project for the visually impaired is to empower and enable the visually impaired individuals by providing them avenues for inclusive education,” said its senior vicepresident GS Cheema.
