Director Jon Watts says Tom Holland’s Spidey will be struggling with the burden of responsibilities in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

In an interview with Collider, the director, who previously helmed the film’s predecessor — Spider-Man: Homecoming, said that though the superhero proved that he is worthy of being given responsibilities, he will get to know about the sacrifices that it needs.

“The way I think about it is the last movie is about a kid who really desperately wants

to be treated like an adult to be given more responsibility. And by the end of the movie he proves that he’s worthy of it,” Watts said.

“There’s this feeling when you’re growing up where you want so badly to be treated like an adult, and then one day you wake up and people start treating you like an adult and you’re like, wait, ‘I like it better when I was a kid,’ and you can’t. So I think this movie is Peter being given the responsibility he wanted and starting to really deal with the implications,” he added.

Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Salman Khan — actor Kareena Kapoor Khan has worked with all of them on the big screen, but she feels most “privileged” to join creative forces with Irrfan in Angrezi Medium.

Kareena will play a cop in Angrezi Medium, a sequel to the 2017 film Hindi Medium.

Asked about how she is preparing for the role, Kareena says, “Oh God, I am super excited for this film. I have

After two decades in the industry, Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning actor Anne Hathaway has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, on Thursday. The honour is coming at a “good year in terms of artistic growth”, Hathaway told variety.com.

The Princess Diaries (2001) and Ocean’s 8 (2018) actor celebrated the occasion with director Dee Rees, rapper and actor Awkwafina, and actor Rebel Wilson.

worked with all the Khans — Shah Rukh, Salman, Aamir and Saif. But for me, it is an honour and privilege to work with Irrfan. He is the pioneer, one of the finest actors among all the Khans if I may say, and he is the biggest Khan for me. So, I had to tick that box of acting with Irrfan. I know it is a small role but that does not matter. I know I am too excited, and I am really looking forward to this one.”

She will start shooting for the film from May 15. Kareena

She said that their latest film, The Hustle, was an opportunity to practice her British accent and work with Wilson on “improv”.

“Improv is not my strong suit, especially when trying to stay in an accent. I went from thinking this would be a fun comedy job where I got to wear lots of outfits and say really clever things about being mistreated by men to [doing] really hard work in two areas that don’t come easily to me,” shared the actor.

Hathaway is currently filming the musical series Modern Love, as well as the film The Witches. has finished shooting Good News, which also stars Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh.

Talking of Diljit, who has expressed his admiration for global reality TV star Kylie Jenner, and recently made a song titled Kylie+Kareena, she feels overwhelmed. “Diljit wrote the song and I am humbled and touched. He is a fine actor. Our first outing was Udta Punjab (2016). But Good News is in the comedy zone, so it’s easy to watch,” she says.

Director Dexter Fletcher has revealed that it was Rami Malek, the lead star of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018), who first approached him to replace director Bryan Singer on the Freddie Mercury biopic as the actor thought he could do a “better job”.

It was in December 2017 when Singer was fired over his repeated absences from the film’s set. He was replaced by Fletcher, who had started working on another biopic, Rocketman, based on the life of legendary musician Elton John.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Fletcher recalled that he received a call from Malek where the actor urged him to save the project. “Rami was like, ‘We f ***** g need you, man. We need somebody. If you come to set and s**t on the floor, you’ll still do a better job than this guy’,” Fletcher said. Fletcher, 53, was the first choice for Bohemian Rhapsody but he was not hired because his take was Rrated (for adults) and makers wanted to make a PG 13 (UA rating) movie. The director shared, “I want to be a guy where the folks go, ‘Well, he’s f**king reliable.’ I want them to be

like, ‘OK, we need to put together a movie. Who can we trust with that money? Well, he f**king got us there and delivered’,” he added.

Fletcher said he had pitched the film as an Rrated project which would have explored everything about Mercury, him being an immigrant, his outsider status, and even his sexuality.
