At the recently concluded FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week in the Capital, actor Aditya Seal walked for designer Siddartha Tytler as a showstopper, wearing an embroidered black and blue zipped kurta set with a jacket. After the show, he talked to us about his relationship with fashion, quick style tips he follows, his fitness mantra and much more. Read on.

It is easy and casual; I’m basically a shorts and T-shirt kinda guy.

I think a pair of nice solid shorts with a fun printed shirt is ideal for summer.

I trim my beard frequently and shape the strays with a small knife.

Out of the bed look! In fact, the most experimental hairstyle that I’ve tried is buzz cut, keeping my hair two centimetres long.

White sneakers go a long way! Also, in accordance to my body type, I prefer straight fit pants instead of tapered.

Other than drinking sufficient amount of water, moisturise your skin on a daily basis; I think moisturisation is very important. Also, one must always wash their face before going to bed.

I believe consistency is the key. Whatever you do, if you’re working out, it doesn’t matter if it’s only for 20 minutes a day, but keep doing it on a daily basis.

It is the future. I like it. Nothing makes me happier than doing my bit for the ecosystem.

I didn’t think I would be able to pull off an angrakha kurta, which I wore last season for a show. But after wearing it, I thought why is this garment only for women?

It should absolutely be neutral for all genders. I definitely feel there should be equality in terms of clothes too.

I do it only for the screen. But I support men who like to do makeup, and are comfortable with it.

D Becks (David Beckham; former football player) is my all-time favourite.

Always be in pursuit of happiness. That’s all that matters.
