I have been seeing a guy

Actor Anjum Fakih has never shied away from talking about her love life. But this time around, she has decided otherwise. “I have been seeing a guy for the last one and a half years. I haven’t spoken about my current relationship in public because I feel until things are concrete, I shouldn’t do it. I seriously believe ki nazar lag jaati hai,” she says.

While she doesn’t wish to reveal the identity of her partner yet, the 33-year-old shares that he is not from the entertainment industry: “I have been a model, so I have dated models and actors. I have realised that it is important to date someone from a different industry. The conversations that I have with my guy are so enlightening. I learn a lot from him.”

Fakih claims to be a “die-hard romantic”, which includes writing poetry for her beau to making illustrative art for him. Talking about the impact her current relationship has had on her, the Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani actor shares, “I am a very impulsive person, who is straightforward and blunt. My partner has made me realise how important it is to stay calm and do things with a clear mind. It’s going well and we are still getting to know each other. My family also knows that I like someone. Despite so many heartbreaks in the past, I still have faith in love.”
