Lip sync important to connect with Hindi audience: Nihal

-

Trunk actor Nihal R, who is coming up with a multi-lingual release next month, says to cater the audience of Hindi belt, the makers are putting in lot of effort.

“To connect with the Hindi speaking audience and give me them a real experience we need to come with a relatable product. The major factor was correct lip-sync. There used to be a major disconnect as lip movement did not match the dubbed version,” shares the actor on his recent visit to Lucknow.

“So, in our film Vijayanand ,we bought a Hindi writer on board. He is based in Mumbai but hails from Uttar Pradesh. He worked hard on the script and did not do the literal translation. As per the lip movement he used words to make it very real and relatable. Originally shot in Kannada, we are releasing the film in five languages so it’s not possible to shoot it five versions but sync something we took very seriously,” he says. He was accompanied with actor Shri Prahlad.
