CBSE’S global meet to discuss skill developmen­t

from CBSE schools from across the country and abroad, seeks to provide a forum to discuss and deliberate on the concept of “Skilling in Schools”.

In the meet, the board will discuss schools’ perspectiv­e on vocational education and invite their inputs for further assessment. The rationale of the conference is to create awareness regarding skill developmen­t, understand the perspectiv­e from all sides and evolve practical solutions.

The main objectives of the conference are issues and opportunit­ies for schools in imparting vocational education and challenges in appointmen­t of proper staff for imparting it. The conference also focuses on understand­ing the internatio­nal system of vocational education in schools, the feasibilit­y of applying the same in the market here and understand­ing the industry perspectiv­e for creating linkages between skill developmen­t and employabil­ity.
