A new day could dawn

With regard to Not down to the wires ( Chanakya, July 7), Arvind Kejriwal is an honest man and not venal. He rightly opposes the corrupt political system since it is the main impediment to progress. If his Aam Admi Party (AAP) comes to power in Delhi, the corrupt politicians and officials in the administration will be weeded out as a result of which many of the pressing issues like civic amenities, lack of housing, crime, etc, will be looked into and things will improve fast. Kejriwal will also see to it that electricity and water charges come down. The government under Sheila Dikshit has been associated with some serious irregularities over the years and it does not reflect an impressive report card.
