CABINET PANEL FORMED FOR U’KHAND FLOODS

DEHRADUN: The Union government has formed a 13-member cabinet committee to look after rehabilitation work in Uttarakhand with chief minister Vijay Bahuguna as one of its members. The move is being seen as loss of the Centre’s trust in the efforts made by the state government. The state bureaucracy said that the committee will help the state in getting more funds and will accelerate rebuilding works but will minimise the role of the state government.
