Only a nationalist leader can deliver, says Rajnath
LUCKNOW: BJP national president Rajnath Singh on Friday said a nationalist leader alone could rid people of the deep financial crisis the country was in.
Addressing a traders’ function organised by the party’s trader cell at the Ravindralaya here, Singh attributed the financial mess to the UPA government’s wrong policies and said the leaders of the UPA government neither had a vision nor a resolve to pull the country out of the crisis.
Praising the Atal Behari Vajpayee government for keeping the country’s economy robust, Singh said only a nationalist leaders like Vajpayee could help the country come out of the crisis. He said the SP and the BSP were equally responsible for the financial crisis the country was facing because they always saved the UPA government from falling.
Singh laid stress on the need for all Indians voting the BJP to power to rid the country of the Congress’ misrule.
Condemning the SP government, the BJP president said the state’s traders found it very difficult to run their trade because of poor law and order.
Making promises to traders, he said the BJP would never allow the FDI in retail and if voted to power at the Centre, it would set up a national commission for traders.
