Mridul-Rajesh in tennis doubles final

The duo of Mrdiul Lal and Rajesh Singh Chandel on Sunday stormed into the final of the SDS Tennis Doubles +35 Tournament, defeating the pair of Rahul Khanna and Shalabh Dubey 6-2, 7-5, at the SDS Tennis Academy here.

Now, they take on the pair of Kamleswer Singh and Subrato, who defeated Manish Pathak and Alok Mishra 7-5, 6-3 in the other semi-final of the day. The final starts at 7.00 a.m. on Monday. SELECTRION TRIALS

Abhijeet Sinha Cricket Academy (ASCA) will conduct trials to select under-13, under-l5 and under-l7 teams on April 20, at the Le cole Du Monde School Ground in Gomti Nagar. A superb century by Anshul Garg (152, 61b, 18x4, 6x6) helped CMS XI crush Christ Church by 119 runs in a league match of the Sai Alumni League Twenty20 Cricket Tournament, at the Sai Greens Ground here on Saturday night.

Batting first after winning the toss, CMS XI piled up 250/3 in 20 overs. In reply, Christ Church could make 9/131.
