Govt doesn’t want to take sides since Israel is helping in rescue of Indians abducted in Iraq

Defaulters of bank loans may soon find their photograph­s published in newspapers. Supreme Court has finally permitted financial institutio­ns to make public identity of willful defaulters in the larger public interest. This, the court said, would create awareness and caution prospectiv­e clients. It, however, added a word of caution and said the decision to resort to such measures have to be taken at a senior level official by an officer not below the rank of General Manager of the bank.
