CLINTON WELCOMED
The state government on Thursday accorded a warm welcome to US ex-President Bill Clinton who was on day’s visit to Jabrauli village to see projects being run by the Clinton Foundation Health Initiative Programme. Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav received Clinton at the airport. During a brief stay at the airport, Yadav and Clinton discussed efforts being made by the state government and foundation in health sector. Clinton offered the foundation’s assistance to further boost health services in the state. Health minister Ahmad Hasan, minister for political pensions Rajendra Chaudhury, minister of state for science and technology Abhishek Mishra and senior officers were present at the meeting.
