Gadkari has given Modi three options regarding the issue It ranges from maintaining status quo to restricting the beacons to just five constitutional authorities which includes the President, vice-presi- dent, Prime Minister, Chief Justice of Supreme Court and Speaker of LS Last year, the Supreme Court directed the govt to drastically reduce the number of VIPs entitled to use the beacons.
