Yellow Line train running towards Jahangirpuri halts at Sikandarpur. Train operator’s control panel shows door at other driver’s end is open Operator steps out to check, finds door closed. Train can’t move due to an inbuilt safety mechanism Driver calls control centre, gets permission to override system to bypass the safety mechanism At Arjangarh, driver forgets to press door-closing mechanism. Train travels till Ghitorni with all passenger cars’ doors open Error is noticed, doors are shut till trip is complete. Train sent to depot for inspection, operator suspended and questioned by senior officials
