‘We will not accept any kind of intrusion by China’
NEW DELHI: Sending a stern message to China, Union minister of state for home Kiren Rijiju on Monday said India will not accept any kind of intrusion by China or concede any of its territory.
“These incidents are happening. But we are very, very clear this time that we will not accept any kind of their (Chinese) intrusion into our territory,” said Rijiju on the sidelines of a function here.
Insisting that there was nothing aggressive about it, Rijiju, who is a Lok Sabha member from Arunachal Pradesh where China has staked controversial claims in the past, termed it as firmness on India’s part.
“We should not let our territory or our perceived territory to go into the hands of the other side. This should not be construed as us being too aggressive or trying to desta- bilise the situation along the border,” he said.
Claiming that Indian forces will not get into any confrontation that can lead to unnecessary strains in ties, Rijiju
