Vijayantkhand tennis league begins on October 2
LUCKNOW: As many as 30 players, representing six different teams would be seen action in the 2nd Vijayantkhand Tennis League in memory of Yugul Kishore Singh, being organized by the Lucknow Sports Club Society, at the Vijayantkhand stadium here in Gomti Nagar from October 2.
The six teams would consist of five players. Organising secretary, Vijay Pathak informed that participating teams include the Lions, Leopards, Panthers, Tigers, Puma and Cheetah. They would be consisting off top players of the state, including UP under-14 No 1 Asutosh Tewari, under-16 star Mridul Kharkwal, Subhi Dwivedi, Sunnish Mani Mishra, and state women’s games champion Meenu Pandey.
Each match will consist of three singles and two doubles and all the six teams will have play against each other. Top four would be playing into the semifinals on October 5, whereas the finals are slated for October 6 at 3.00 p.m. EASY WIN Maruti Suzuki defeated Friends XI by 10 wickets to collect full points in the Sai Autumn League night cricket tournament for
