BJP assails Azam Khan

LUCKNOW: The state BJP on Thursday assailed urban development minister Mohd Azam Khan for his comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying Khan had been misleading the people against the prime minister. BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said Khan had been spreading communal venom to serve the vested interest of the Samajwadi Party. Referring to Khan’s statement that Modi did not extend Eid greetings to the people, Pathak said the minister should first check the facts and then issue statement. He said Modi’s Eid greetings were widely publicized on official website and newspapers.
