Now, Lucknowites can take direct flight to Abu Dhabi from Nov 14

Now, Lucknowites will have a direct flight to Abu Dhabi (UAE) every day from November 14. It will be operated by Jet Airways from the Chaudhary Charan Singh airport at 4 pm.

An official said that the airlines is upbeat about the new flight as there is a good traffic from Lucknow to Abu Dhabi. He said the airlines is receiving a number of inquiries for the flight and the first flight has been booked to capacity.

The international airlines operating from Lucknow airport are Oman Air (Muscat), Saudi Arabian Airlines (Jeddah, Riyadh), Fly Dubai (Dubai), Indian Airlines (Sharjah), Air- India (Dubai) and now Jet Airways has entered that league.

At present, Lucknow has around 155 i nter national flights per month, which is more than any airport besides the four metro cities. Besides, all the major domestic airlines are also operating from the state capital.
