Now that Pentagon has nailed its lies the US must stop aid to Pakistan

This is with reference to the editorial Astrategy that can only fail (Our Take, November 6). Pakistan’s proxy war with India is proof that the former cannot fight and win a conventional war with us. The Pentagon has exposed Pakistan’s sinister designs when it comes to dealing with terror groups and this is reason for India to rejoice. Pakistan’s attempt to internationalise the Kashmir issue and to blame India for stalling the peace talks is an exercise in futility as there are no buyers for Pakistan’s view. India called off foreign secretary-level talks between India and Pakistan because Pakistan decided to ignore India’s objections and met the separatists. Now the US should stop economic and military aid to Pakistan to avoid its further misuse.
