‘Honoured to be chosen for Swachh Bharat’

VARANASI: Two of the nine persons nominated by the PM to carry forward his Swachh Bharat campaign are locals — noted Sanskrit scholar Prof Devi Prasad Dwivedi and writer Manu Sharma (Krishn Ki Atmakatha). Reacting to his nomination, Prof Devi Prasad Dwivedi said, “I am honoured to be associated with PM’s Swachh Bharat campaign. In fact, cleanliness is the first step towards development. Manu Sharma remarked, “I will start the drive from my neighbourhood and will then move to other parts of the city.”
