Loreto gets spacious, modern auditorium
LUCKNOW: The new Delphine Hart auditorium of Loreto Convent Intermediate College was inaugurated in presence of Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Lucknow Fr Gerald John Mathias on Monday. It took two years and eight months to complete the ultra modern and spacious auditorium, principal L George informed.
“The college management and architects together worked hard to ensure that façade of the new auditorium matches well with the look of the old building. It has come up on 10,000 sq feet land,” he said.
A colourful cultural prog ramme was organised by students to give the auditorium a befitting inauguration. Fr Gerald John Mathias also blessed the new building by sprinkling holy water.

small to accommodate all parents and students of the institute at a time. Several times we had to invite patents in smaller groups and repeat programmes. This hall will help us to accom- modate good number of people,” the principal said.
Alumni of Loreto Convent had contributed generously for the construction of the new building.
The school management thanked parents and others for their benevolent contribution towards the 140-year-old institution.
