Cyber security meet at Amity institute
LUCKNOW: To spread awareness on information security and improve the security of web based services, Amity Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow organised its first international information security meet-2015 at the university campus on Sunday. The meet brought cyber experts, information security enthusiasts, researchers, hackers, coders, security and networking professionals and students on a single forum to discuss every aspect of information security. Nipun Jaiswal, senior security expert, Visioingenii, UK said while a fair amount of research had gone into blocking malicious software such as viruses, worms, trojans, spyware, etc but comparatively less time had been spent researching malicious hardware devices. Rakshit Tandon, director, A&R Info Security Solutions Private Ltd talked about safe surfing and gave tips on how to be safe during the Internet surfing and preserve personal data.
