AGRA: In the case of the sex video of a young boy and girl that recently went viral, an FIR was lodged by the girl against her ‘beloved’ and his friend on Tuesday.

Circle officer (CO), kotwali, Manisha Singh informed that the girl had approached the police on Tuesday. “After her complaint, the police registered an FIR against two persons – Shahzan (her friend) alias Pappu and his friend Imran alias Raju – for allegedly sharing the videos on social networking platforms and porn sites,” she said.

“The FIR was lodged under sections 292 and 293 of the IPC Act and Section 67 of the IT Act, but probe is still underway. To know the exact facts, we are also looking for the boy and his friend,” added the CO.

Earlier, locals had gone to the police station and complained against the boy and his friends. Both, the girl and boy, in their 20s, belong to the minority community and had allegedly made the video with mutual consent.

Last week, a panchayat in Katra Neel, in Nai ki Mandi locality, had banished the families of the boy and the girl after the sex video clips of the couple went public on whatsapp and other social networking platforms.

Berating the families for giving a bad name to the community, the panchayat had given the couple’s families a 10-day deadline to leave the locality.
