VHP LEADER ASHOK SINGHAL PUT ON VENTILATOR
International patron of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Ashok Singhal was put on ventilator on Saturday afternoon after his condition deteriorated at Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon. Singhal was admitted to the hospital late on Friday night after he complained of breathlessness. As per information received from Gurgaon, doctors found that his lungs were not functioning properly after which he was put on ventilator.

Singhal was admitted to the hospital late on Friday night after he complained of breathlessness.
Vice-president of Kashi Pranth of VHP Puneet Verma said that as per information received from Gurgaon, doctors found that his lungs were not functioning properly after which he was put on ventilator.
Earlier on October 21, Singhal was shifted to Medanta Hospital from Allahabad after he complained of breathing problem. After undergoing treatment for nearly three weeks, Singhal was discharged on November 11. However, the VHP leader once again complained of difficulty in breathing after which he was again admitted to Medanta Hospital on Friday.
“Singhal’s condition is said to be critical. After receiving the news, several religious programmes and special prayers are being planned for Sunday,” he said. He said that ‘Mahamritunjay jaap’ had already begun at Sachcha Baba Ashram in Arail while ‘Hanuman Chalisa paath’ would be held at Hanuman Temple on Bandh and VHP office on Park Road at 1 pm on Sunday.
