Science Olympiad at CMS

The 4-day International Science Olympiad ‘Quanta-2015’ organized by City Montessori School, Chowk campus was inaugurated by the chief guest, Upendra Kushwaha, union minister of state for human resource development at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium amidst a grand opening ceremony on Saturday. The presence of around 700 young scientists and renowned scientists and experts from 9 countries viz Brazil, Jordan, Nepal, Germany, Malaysia, Russia, Finland, Lebanon, and various states of India created a mini world full of the feelings of unity and brotherhood. On this occasion, CMS students presented a scintillating educational-cultural programme in honour of the experts and young scientists arrived from various countries. Speaking at the inaugural function, the union minister said that there was an urgent need today to combine science with humanity, as progress in science was the surest way towards human development.
