UP CONG AWARDS LAPTOP TO QUIZ WINNER
On the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of the country Jawahar Lal Nehru on Saturday, the Uttar Pradesh Congress committee organised a quiz competition at the party office. The questionnaire comprising 100 questions was based on development activities undertaken in the country in the last 60 years and on Jawahar Lal Nehru. Amarnath Agarwal, spokesperson of the state Congress committee, informed that 789 students took part in the quiz competition. Nirmal Khatri, state Congress president and other party leaders distributed prizes to winners. Manasvi stood first in the quiz competition and was awarded a laptop while the second and third prize winners Sanjeev Shukla and Anamika Tewari respectively were given tablets. Other winners were given mobile phones and watches. All the participants were also given a certificate each.The quiz competition was organised as part of the several functions organised by the Uttar Pradesh Congress committee to mark the birth anniversary of Nehru.
