LODHA PANEL GRILLS SUNDAR RAMAN
The Justice RM Lodha committee on Saturday grilled former IPL chief operating officer Sundar Raman for about two hours. “The committee asked Sundar Raman a series of questions and he was very calm. But he didn’t change his position. He answered on a line which we had adopted in the Supreme Court. He argued that the allegation against him were circumstantial only,” a member of committee told HT. The Apex Court had formed the Lodha panel as part of its January 22 verdict, delivered on the basis of the Justice Mukul Mudgal panel’s probe report into the IPL spot-fixing scandal. Former Supreme court Justice Ashok Bhan and RV Raveendran are the others members on the panel.
