MSY’s birthday bash: BJP hits out at SP

The Bharatiya Janata Party plans to make political capital out of SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav’s birthday bash on November 22.

“By the looks of it, it appears that the Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singhji is competing with BSP leader Mayawati who too used to splurge public money on her birthday,” UP BJP spokesman Chandramohan said.

The celebrations on Yadav’s birthday eve on November 21 to be held in Yadav’s ancestral village Saifai include a musical extravaganza by eminent musician AR Rahman and his troupe at Master Chandgiram Stadium. Actors Salman Khan and Hritik Roshan too are likely to join in. The cake cutting ceremony and fireworks that would light up the Saifai’s night sky are likely to provide fodder to the BJP to attack the ruling party.
