Thrilling wins mark Tewari tourney opening

LUCKNOW: It was a day of thrilling wins on the opening day of the Pt Raas Bihari Tewari Twenty20 Inter-School Cricket Tournament here on Tuesday.

KVS Lucknow Cantt defeated Islamia Inter College by seven runs, whereas Lucknow Public School, Vrindavan beat Lucknow Montessori Inter College by 14 runs. The winners made it to the second round. On Wednesday, KV (AMC) meet River Side Academy at 8.00 a.m., whereas KV (Gomti Nagar) take on CMS (Rajendra Nagar) at 10.30 a.m.

She was 67 and died after a brief illness.
