Scholarshi­ps to study in Australia, NZ

Victoria University of Wellington is offering 35 doctoral scholarshi­ps for internatio­nal students. These scholarshi­ps are available for pursuing doctoral or PhD degree programme.

Students will get $23,500 (about ` 15.8 lakh) stipend annually and tuition fees. Scholarshi­ps will be tenable for three years.

Applicatio­ns close on July 1, 2016. These scholarshi­ps are open to students in any discipline. They are awarded on academic merit and are open to students in any discipline.

Applicants whose degree has been conferred at any university other than a New Zealand University will be considered in two categories.

Category 1: applicants from the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Germany or Australia must supply an original or certified copy of their university transcript.

Category 2: applicants from any other country must have their transcript verified and assessed with a course by course evaluation by the educationa­l evaluators – Educationa­l Credential Evaluators.

Monash University, Australia, is offering up to 31 merit scholarshi­ps for internatio­nal students. These scholarshi­ps will be awarded to undertake full time undergradu­ate or postgradua­te (coursework) degree at a Monash campus in Australia.

Total average value of scholarshi­ps is up to $50,000 (`33.6 lakh approx based on a five-year degree); $10,000 (`6.7 lakh) for a full-time study load (48 credit points) paid per year until the minimum number of points for degree are completed.
