THREE KILLED IN TWO SEPARATE ROAD MISHAPS

LUCKNOW: Three people, including two childhood friends, died while one person got critically injured in two separate road accidents that took place in the city outskirts here on Wednesday.

The first incident took place in Mohanlalga­nj when a speeding Alto car rammed into a roadways bus near Gopalkheda village turn at around 12pm.

The two friends Anuj Yadav, 25, and Aman Kumar, 24, both residents of Nigoha were travelling in the car and were on their way to Lucknow at the time of incident while the bus was coming from the opposite side.

The two friends suffered multiple injuries as the car was entirely smashed in the head-on collision and they died on the spot.

In the incident, the bus driver was also critically injured and was admitted to community health centre of Mohanlalga­nj. The two deceased were in the real estate business.

In another incident, one Brijesh Singh, 25, was killed when a thresher turned turtle near Badbadakhe­da village of Kakori at around 3am.

His brother Anit Singh told the cops that the incident took place when his brother was returning home after the farm harvesting.

He said Brijesh was sitting on the thresher and he came under it as it overturned.

The accident took place as the driver fell asleep and the machine fell in a roadside pit.
