High speed train between Kanpur-Lucknow soon

KANPUR: Daily commuters will soon be able to travel in a high speed train from Kanpur to Lucknow following the state government’s approval to the train project under the Rail Rapid Transit System (RPTS). The high speed train will run between Lucknow and Ganga Barrage. The train has been proposed to reduce the rush on the Lucknow Kanpur route. The state government has also constituted a five-member committee for preparing the detailed project report (DPR).
