Faculty development prog

A week-long faculty development programme on ‘Quality Enrichment in Higher Education: Strategies towards Continual Improvements in Education System and R& D’ was successfully conducted by Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University (SRMU) from July 11-16. The programme was inaugurated by Prof Ravi Kant, vice chancellor, King George’s Medical University, Lucknow. Kant stressed on the need of skill development of faculty by arranging multifaceted training programmes. Nineteen interactive and stimulating sessions were conducted by various distinguished keynote speakers like Mrigendra Kumar, general manager HAL, Prof(Dr) Chandel of Dayal Bagh University, Agra and Prof (Dr) Tarun Dhingra, UPES Dehradun on different topics like teaching method, skill development, role of teachers, sustainable education, academia -industry interaction and learning process by digital technology.
