Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN)

The third edition of the Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN), Lucknow chapter, hosted by Allenhouse Public School under the aegis of Superhouse Group concluded on Sunday. About 300 students of 21 schools from Lucknow and Kanpur attended the conference. Governor Ram Naik attended the closing ceremony of this event. Naik in his address encouraged the youth to become torch-bearers of tomorrow. The finale included the felicitation of the best delegate from each committee. Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN) is run completely by students in age group of 16-22 years. It provides the youth a platform to voice their opinions by forwarding their drafted resolutions to the United Nations. It is also the first MUN in Asia to have its own procedure. Allanhouse principal Kavita Vij said event like this were important for students’ development.
