Shooter Chain Singh to be discharged from hospital
Olympics-bound rifle shooter Chain Singh, who was hospitalised in Lausanne, Switzerland after being diagnosed with pulmonary embolism and pneumonia, is set to be discharged on Sunday and will soon resume training. The 27-year-old shooter developed a condition where the veins of the patient have blood clots which results in trouble in breathing. Singh is scheduled to participate in 50m rifle prone and 50m rifle 3 positions at the Games and will fly out to Rio on August 1.
