Cambridge Convent boys emerge champs in school T-T

Lucknow’s Cambridge Convent School defeated JKG Internatio­nal School, Ghaziabad 3-1 to win the junior boys team title of the 11Even Sports State Inter-School Table Tennis Championsh­ip at Ghaziabad on Wednesday.

St Patricks School of Agra won the junior girls team title, brushing aside DPS, Indirapura­m (Ghaziabad) 3-0. But in the senior girls category, DPS, Indirapura­m (Ghaziabad) outplayed Lucknow’s Nayvuga Radiance School by 3-0 and in the boys category, radha Ballabh Inter College of Agra emerged victorious, defeating Allahabad’s Vashisth Vatsalaya Public School 3-0. POINTS SPLIT Favourites Sports Hostel and Sports College men split points in the Lucknow Hockey League-2016, playing a 1-1 draw, at the KD Singh ‘Babu’ Stadium here on Wednesday.
