Bulandshah­r case: Victim gets admission in Noida school

After a month long trauma, which also included politician­s and social activists making a beeline to visit the Bulandshah­r gangrape victims, a bureaucrat has lent a helping hand to the family and got the minor girl, who wants to be an IPS officer, admitted in a prestigiou­s school of Noida to ensure she continues with her studies.

“I have assured her to provide all assistance to transform her dream into a reality,” said Noida district magistrate NP Singh, who had called the girl and her father to his residence last week and during the course of his conversati­on came to know that the girl had stopped going to school after the incident

on July 29. “I spoke to a few schools and she eventually got admission in one of the prestigiou­s schools, which was situated close to her residence,” told Singh HT over phone. She has been admitted in class 8 and the teachers have been asked to take special care that her identity should not be exposed to other students.
