Muslim Manch to move HC for FIR against MSY

-

The Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), a RSS-backed body, on Thursday threatened to move high court to get an FIR registered against Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav for his 26-year old firing order on karsevaks in Ayodhya on October 30, 1990.

MRM convener Raees Khan sent mails to chief secretary, principal secretary, home, SSP Lucknow and Delhi’s Human Rights Association urging them to instruct the Lucknow police to get the FIR registered against the SP chief.

“Nearly 15 Muslims had gone to the Hazratganj police station to get an FIR registered against Mulayam Singhji on Wednesday for his repeated assertions claiming responsibility for the Ayodhya firing. Last week he said instead of 16 even if 30 karsevaks were to get killed, he would have issued the same order. That is a candid admission of guilt for which we want him arrested,” Khan said.

THE MRM PLANS TO HOLD A SIT-IN OUTSIDE THE HAZRATGANJ POLICE STATION IN A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE FINALIZING THE MOVE TO SEEK LEGAL INTERVENTION

The MRM plans to hold a sitin outside the Hazratganj police station in a couple of days before finalizing the move to seek legal intervention on the issue.

On Wednesday, the MRM men had affixed a copy of their complaint outside the Hazratganj police station. “The Hazratganj police station in-charge Vijay Mal Yadav is trying to avoid us. We have tried to contact him several times but he says that he is checking up with higher ups on whether the police complaint should be accepted,” says Khan.
