FEUD A PLOY TO DIVERT PEOPLE’S ATTENTION: MAYA

-

LUCKNOW: BSP president Mayawati termed the ongoing feud in Yadav family as a ploy to divert the attention of the people from important issues. Launching a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, she said, “If he is not capable of handling family feud then he should quit politics”.

Bahujan Samaj Party president Mayawati termed the ongoing feud in Yadav family as a ploy to divert the attention of the people from important issues.

Launching a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, she said, “If he is not capable of handling family feud then he should quit politics”.

Addressing senior party leaders during a meeting at the state unit office of the BSP, Mayawati said: “The Samajwadi Party government has failed on all fronts and the people are feeling cheated. Law and order has deteriorated and the state is in the grip of jungle raj. Claims of development are only on papers and on hoardings installed on the roads,” she said.

“After completing four years in power, the Samajwadi Party has no achievement to show to the people. To divert attention, senior SP leaders have scripted a family drama and each one is acting according to the script,” she said. Exultant over the turnout in four rallies organised by the party in Agra, Azamgarh, Allahabad and Saharanpur, Mayawati said: “It indicates the increasing faith of the people in the policies of the BSP”.

She directed the party leaders to strengthen the organisation and spread the base of the party before the 2017 assembly election.

Attacking the Bharatiya Janata Party, she said the saffron brigade had no CM face for 2017 assembly election. “BJP is leaderless and banking on ‘Aya Ram, Gaya Ram’ (defectors) to grab power. The people have lost faith in NDA government as well as the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The NDA government has failed to fulfil the aspirations of the people,” Mayawati said.
