SEPARATE STRATEGIES IN DIFFERENT POLICE STATION AREAS

-

PARA POLICE STRATEGY:

Here the cops are more focussed on foot patrolling rather than moving in a patrolling jeep with siren blowing. Anurag Mishra, SO Para, said the patrolling jeep had been deployed on highways and areas where a proper road was built while foot patrolling was undertaken on narrow and kuccha roads. He said foot patrolling would help them reach houses in locations where fourwheelers or two wheelers may not reach. The two previous strikes of tribal gangs were in houses in similar deserted locations.

KAKORI POLICE STRATEGY:

Cops of Kakori police station are more dependent on two-wheeler patrolling. The entire available force during night hours is being pressed into patrolling. The available force is divided into multiple motorcycle patrolling groups of two members each. “Different routes and localities are allotted to every group to keep on moving in the area. The patrolling groups are asked to keep flashing torch lights in fields and orchards, as it will make dacoits and burglars feel the cops’ presence in the area and avert the incidents,” said Ram Naresh Yadav, station officer of Kakori police station.
