SP announces tickets for nine seats, changes candidates for 17

State president of the Samajwadi Party Shivpal Yadav announced candidates for nine assembly seats and changed 17 others, on Monday.

Sitting MLA of Prayagpur (Bahraich), Mukesh Srivastava, who won the seat as a Congress candidate in 2012, is now a SP candidate on the same seat.

Other candidates include Mohd Irshad (Nakud in Saharanpur), Jaishankar Singh (Nanpara in Bahraich), Aman Mani Tripathi (Nautanw ain Maharajganj), Sanjay Yadav(Obrain Sonebhadra), Harish Lodhi (Dibaee in Bulandshahr), Rajeshwari (Gopamau reserved seat in Hardoi), Usha Verma (Sandi in Hardoi) and Subhash Rai (Jalalpur in Ambedkarnagar).

The SP also changed its candidates on 17 seats. Jasveer Valmiki replaced Vimla Rakesh in Rampur Manihari reserved constituency in Saharanpur while Sher Singh Rana was named in place of Kiranpal Kashyap on Thana Bhawan seat in Shamli. Shahnawaz Rana is the new candidate replacing Md Iliyaas on Mirpur seat in Muzaffarnagar while Tasleem Ahmed has been fielded in place of Abrar Alam Ansari on Najibabad seat in Bijnore. Mainpal Singh alias Pintu Rana replaced Atul Pradhan on Sardhana seat in Meerut and Arati Agarwal is the new candidate in place of Sardar Parvinder Singh in Meerut Cantonment. Ayub Ansari is the new candidate replacing Rafiq Ansari in Meerut City.

Ravindra Valmiki has replaced Sunita Chauhan on Khurja reserved seat in Bulandshahr while Moolchand Jatav will contest on Hathras reserved seat in place of Ram Narain Kakey. Shriniwas Sharma has replaced Rajkumar Chahar on Fatehpur Sikri seat and Rani Pakshalika Singh is the new candidate in place of Vinod Kumar Sikarwar on Khairagarh seat.

Ajit Prasad, son of minister Awadhesh Prasad, has replaced Vijay Kumar Pasi on Jagdishpur reserved seat in Rae Bareli. The party gave ticket to Seema Sachan from Kanpur Dehat ticket replacing Mahendra Katiyar. Chandra Bhushan Singh Bundela has replaced Jyoti Lodhi on Lalitpur seat and Balam Dwivedi is the new candidate in place of Chandrabali Singh Patel on Kaushambi’s Chayal seat. Surendra Singh Patel was named as candidate for Madihaan seat in Mirzapur in place of Ravindra Bahadur Singh. Avadhesh Pathak will replace Arvind Kumar Maurya on Shivpur seat in Varanasi.
