Agha fashions NE R’s title triumph

Agha Shahid’s allround performanc­e helped North Eastern Railway (NER) lift the 2nd Jahanvi Dutt Memorial Cricket Trophy, registerin­g a thrilling two-wicket win against LDA Coaching Centre (LDACC), at the Chowk Stadium here on Monday. Agha first had five for 31 to see the rivals collapsing for 130 in 32.3 overs and then made unbeaten 15 in 20 balls with the help of one four to help the side romp home in 33.5 overs. Ashish Yadav, Agha Shahid and Akshdeep Nath were later given special awards.

overs (Ashish Yadav 31, Nishant Rai 22, Agha Shahid 15*, Manish Sharma 3 for 32, Hemant 2 for 30). EASY VICTORY Multi Activity Centre (MAC) defeated Indian XI by five wickets in a league match of the Gulmohar Cricket League, at the Pt Raas Bihari Tewari Stadium here on Monday.
