Demonetisation will eliminate corruption in country: Sinha
AYODHYA: Minister of state for railways Manoj Sinha said on Sunday that demonetisation was a part of central government’s strategy to eliminate corruption from the country.
“The BJP has given corruptionfree governance which shows the party is committed to end black money,” Sinha said while addressing BJYM youth conference.
He said it was due to the massive support from the youth that the BJP came to power at the Centre in 2014. “Youths have to reunite in the 2017 assembly elections to transform UP. The party will give more than 350 assembly tickets to its core workers,” he said.
The daylong conference-cum-training programme of the BJP youth wing was inaugurated at Karsevakpuram, Ayodhya, by the party MP and president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Anurag Thakur.
He said the energy of young party workers showed that the assembly elections would change the political scenario in UP. Thakur asked the party workers to inform people about the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said demonetisation would bring maximum benefits for the weaker sections of the society.
He suggested that the central government should direct banks to issue fixed deposit certificates of the amount deposited in Jan Dhan accounts to its holders. “It will serve to be a lesson for black money depositors,” he said.
BJP MP from Ayodhya Laloo Singh and BJP district president Awadhesh Pandey also addressed the workers.
Earlier, Manoj Sinha visited Hanumangarhi and Kanak Bhawan and met the president of Ram Janm Bhoomi Nyas Mahant Nritya Gopal Das at his residence.
He also laid the foundation of laying of double railway track between Barabanki and Akbarpur, installation of accelerator and lift at railway station, Faizabad. He also inaugurated water vending and wi-fi facility at Faizabad railway station.
