- Deep Mukherjee deeptarka.mukherjee@htlive.com

For the last ten months the Rajasthan police have been doggedly pursuing dreaded criminal Vishram Choudhary but with little success.

Now, it appears that Choudhary has been ‘multitasking’ while evading arrest — he has been busy shooting for his ‘biopic,’ titled Ek Tha Gangster.

A known troublemaker, Choudhary is a history-sheeter of Gandhi Nagar police station in Ajmer district and wanted in several cases such as assault and threatening people.

A video uploaded on You Tube on March 17 claims to be a song from the upcoming biopic which he says is ‘coming soon’.

The song, titled Choro Mohanpura Ko (Boy from Mohanpura) is sung by a singer named Praveen Kumar Jat, who uploaded the video on You Tube. Mewadi Brothers composed the music, it says.

When Hindustan Times contacted Nitin Deep Blaggan, superintendent of police, Ajmer, he said efforts will be made to track down the person who has uploaded the video.

“We are currently investigating the matter and will also be trying to track the person who uploaded the video through the help of IP address and other technical means. Choudhary is absconding since several months and we are searching for him,” Blaggan said.

The song in Rajasthani language says Choudhary is pride of the Jat community and glorifies his ‘achievements’.
