day after he was suspended by the Aam Aadmi Party, sacked minister Kapil Mishra said he was going to file an FIR against chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and five of his associates over corruption.

In an open letter to Kejriwal, Mishra sought his blessings before “fighting his life’s biggest battle against him”. “Bless me,” he wrote to Kejriwal.

“I am going to file an FIR against you today. I learned to fight for honesty and against corruption. My heart is heavy as I have to go against the teacher who taught me to fight. But I could not have remained silent. I am writing this letter to seek your blessing before going to fight my life’s biggest battle against you. Please bless me,” the letter said.

Mishra, who was sacked on May 6, also challenged Kejriwal to contest election against him from either Karawal Nagar or his own New Delhi seat.

“If you have any shred of morality left, then accept my challenge. Fight election against me from either my Karawal Nagar seat or your New Delhi seat,” he said. The former water minister said he would not have been sacked if he hadn’t written to anti-corruption bureau (ACB) about the water tanker scam.

“Arvind ji, our heart knows what kind of relationship you have with Satyendar Jain. You know what money deal I am talking about. You know that if I had not written the letter to ACB that day then you would not have removed me in such a hurry. You told this to your PAC members and they told me,” he said.

Mishra said he has been told Kejriwal will use the whip and remove him from the assembly in a special session on Tuesday. “I know today in assembly you will try to prove your innocence. You will become the accused, the advocate, the witness and the judge. Between applause for yourself and abuse for me, remember that I know all your moves,” he said.

He also said he has received 211 complaints against the party since Tuesday. “You and five of your associates have broken the faith of the country. I will stand alone against all your might, men and money,” he wrote.
