India has no dearth of brave men: CM

-

Terming Mughal emperors Babur and Akbar as foreign invaders, chief minister Yogi Adityanath said there was no need to fear organisations like the ISI or ISIS for ‘our country has no dearth of brave people’.

Speaking at function here on Tuesday, he praised Rajput king Maharana Pratap and Sikh Guru Gobind Singh as brave men.

The event was held to launch documentaries on PM Narendra Modi, UP governor Ram Naik and state CM Yogi Adityanath prepared by union minister of states for foreign affairs gen VK Singh (retired).

“If you have to look at history, then study the history of Maharana Pratap, Guru Gobind Singh who were the real heroes. When Man Singh offered to surrender to Akbar, Maharana Pratap refused. He and Guru Gobind Singh were the real brave men whereas Akbar and Babur were invaders.

Heaping praise on the three documentaries, governor Naik said they (the documentaries) would inspire people. Praising the CM, he said within a month of his taking over Yogi had showed how a chief minister should be like. VK Singh said Yogi was working in the direction that Modi showed. He added that good days in UP would come very soon.

‘ARMED FORCES WILL ACT AT RIGHT TIME’

Union minister of state Gen (retired) VK Singh said people should have faith in India’s armed forces that will act at the right time.

Singh said so in response to the recent Pakistan armed forces’ brutal killing of two Indian army personnel.

On how long the post of the defence minister will stay vacant, he said, “The PM is the right person to answer this question.” On the problems that many Indians were facing due to the USA’s new visa police (H1B1), Singh said, “The US has multiple pressure groups, we are trying to tell the US that Indians have made a great contribution to America’s progress and prosperity and thus it should keep Indians in mind while making its policies.”
