Startup conclave organised
Venture Catalysts organised first-ever start-up investors conclave on Saturday in which more than 100 investors and around 50 start –ups participated. Brajesh Pathak, UP minister for law and lustice, inaugurated the function. Addressing the gathering, Pathak said: “The environment in UP is favourable for such investment and entrepreneurs.” He assured all support of the government in encouraging such investor conclaves. Jayant Krishna, COO, National Skill Development Corporation, apprised the gathering about various schemes of the Centre for start-ups. Vinayak Nath, managing partner, Venture Catalysts, UP, said: “It is a unique event which will strengthen state’s growth in the start-up world significantly. It has created space of open networking and discussions and turned the spotlight of major investors towards the state.”
